Two peas in a pod.

The pictures listed on your left are pictures of my cousin Praline and me getting ready to go to church. Some people say we look alike but hey what can I say we are rated "D'' for dynamite.I'm very proud to call her my cousin. She is very excited for me and my locks and I'm glad to know that she is always by my side just like I am for her.We both have the same dreams and we are praying for them to come true.I'm crazy about our hair. And I'm very proud of it.

Twinky,

Your locks look super! Congratulations!!

I am really impressed that you had enough patience to wait for a year before getting them.

That is so awesome to see another one of my young sisters sporting chemical free roots. I have no doubt that your wait has been worth it and you are going to love your locks more and more everyday.

Congratulations Miss Twinky!!! Your hair looks absolutely marvelous.

Your locs are beautiful and you're so right, you and Praline ARE dynamite! You are both very wise young ladies to make such a smart decision regarding your hair at such a young age. Thanks for helping to set an example for folks of all ages of how beautiful a natural hair journey can be.

Hi Twinky,

Your locks look great. How wonderful that your Aunt has the skills to do your locks. I wish I had a relative who could do mine (smile). You and Praline look absolutly "dynamite" with your locks. Hopefully, other young AA girls will read your blog and see how great it is to be natural and chemical free.

I can't wait to show your pictures and blog to my daughter. She is 11 and has no chemicals in her hair. I would love for her to have locks but, she says she's not sure she wants them. That lets me know she's not ready.

Your locks are so pretty and your hair is going to be more and more amazing each year.

Keep going for what you want in life. You can do anything!

its so encouraging to know that my younger sisters are CHOOSING to let go of the perm! Truly a beautiful thing. Your locks are going to be beautiful. I just started braidlocks too. Just ended my 2nd month and I have no regrets (except that I didn't do this sooner!)
